    Vehicle Aim Relative Control

    Vehicle Aim Relative Control
Since Commo-Rose was introduced to Battlefield 4, it has resulted in a rearrangement of the Spotting, Knife, and more importantly the land and water based control functions on the corresponding controllers of each platform. Unless you have opted the Veteran setting to replace the default, land and water based vehicles will be maneuverable through the Analog Sticks (right being the camera pan and left as acceleration/ braking, if I am not mistaken).

Transpiring from this addition, a new criteria has been implemented and it is referred to as "Vehicle Aim Relative Control" (again I may be incorrect to the description). This enables you to control your vehicle, provided it has a mounted turret such as the IFVs, MBTs, or Attack Boats, based on the direction your vehicle is positioned.

In illustration, we have a tank that is unmoved and has its turret facing North. Upon entering, you alter the tank's forward direction by displacing it 90 degrees East. The turret remains in a Northerly direction while the body is facing East. Depending on if you have not deactivated the "Vehicle Aim Relative Control" , as it is a default setting, to move your tank Eastward you will angle the left Analog to the right and the tank will proceed.

This applies to any direction your turret-mounted vehicle is designated. To move backwards, simply redirect the angle of the analog to the rear of the vehicle on-screen.

*If this pertains to PC notify me so I may transform the title to include that information.
